How to order for pickup
Ordering ahead is the simplest way to skip the morning line, especially between 8:30 and 10 AM when the counter gets busy. Three ways to do it:
GrubHub or DoorDash pickup — Both apps show a "pickup" option. Order through the app, we'll have it ready when you arrive, no additional fees vs delivery-focused orders. Full menu available.
Call (929) 813-1897 — Best for large orders (5+ drinks), pastry orders for the office, or specific timing needs ("I need this ready at 9:15 sharp"). Speak to a barista, tell them what you want, we'll have it packed.
Most of our menu holds up fine in transit. A few notes from experience:
Best for delivery/pickup: iced matcha lattes, cold brew (in the bottle), hot coffee drinks (in insulated cups), all pastries, breakfast sandwiches (wrapped in foil to stay warm).
Slight compromise: avocado toast — the bread softens in transit. Best eaten in-cafe within 5 minutes.
Espresso shots straight: lose their crema in under 60 seconds. Order milk-based drinks (latte, flat white, cortado) if going to-go.
Soup of the day: travels but cools quickly. Eat within 20 minutes of pickup.

Payment
GrubHub and DoorDash handle payment through their platforms. For phone or email orders, we accept card (over the phone or on pickup), cash on pickup, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Venmo (@cafemiabk). We don't accept checks.
